About Us

 SABINE PARISH LIBRARY MISSION 

The mission of the Sabine Parish Public Library system is to provide information services and
resources for all people of the Parish: to increase their opportunities for participation in society,
to learn, to achieve self-fulfillment, to pursue careers, and to conduct research. To this end the
Library proposes to provide its citizens with the means for informal self-education and to
supplement formal education from pre-school through college.
In addition to education, it attempts to serve all the people’s needs as a recreational and
cultural center. The Sabine Parish Library proposes to promote an enlightened citizenship by
serving as a center of reliable information providing free service to every resident in the
community.
