Getting Your Library Card
•Any person who lives, works, attends school or owns property in Sabine Parish is entitled to apply for a library card, with the exception of pre-school children. A parent of a pre-school child may check out books for this age group.
•Borrower’s privileges are extended only if the applicant is willing to correctly provide all of the information required on the application form; sign the statement regarding responsibility, and provide identification and verification of address. All applicants must provide a contact person with telephone number who will be able to provide a forwarding address. Anyone living in the parish for less than 6 months must provide identification with name and current Sabine Parish address.
•Students aged 6 to 15 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian upon application for a library card and must provide signature of approval.
•Patrons will be required to update the information on their registration cards yearly.
