New Business:

An opening at the Converse Branch Library was discussed. The Director reported that interviews were being conducted.

Old Business:

Debbie Anderson reported that the Toledo Branch Manager position has been filled by Kathy Allen. The Branch had returned to its regular Monday – Friday schedule beginning February 1, 2022.

Present for a discussion of the ongoing building project were Architects Wayne Coco and Christopher Leigh. They shared with the Board an estimated design and construction schedule. The Board was assured the project is being given immediate attention by the firm. Also, either Mr. Coco or Mr. Leigh will attend the special monthly meetings called for at the January Board Meeting.

It was decided in the January 2022 meeting, in light of the amount of work needed to complete the building project and any decisions regarding the upcoming election, that the Board will meet once a month for the remainder of 2022. The meetings will take place on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 9:30 in the Main Branch. This was unanimously agreed upon on a motion by Diann Migliore with a second by Kenneth Ebarb. The next meeting is scheduled for March 17, 2022.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned by a motion from Kenneth Ebarb, seconded by Diann Migliore.
